Has Labour's big brother state lost the plot?

There is a lot of this going on right now and I find it sinister in the extreme!!!! It seems that our civil liberites are being decimated because of this "terrorist" legislation! of course the comspiracy theorists says that the whole terrorist threat has been manufactured purely for the reason of using these covert police state laws on us. I think they have a point
