My partner has odor down there, what do I do?

So I started dating this guy recently, the problem, he smells really bad down there, the other problem, he's really ultra sensitive an if you say the wrong thing, he ends up being pissed at you for a while. I wanna enjoy for once dammit, but how do I let him know to clean down there?
