If accepted, when could I expect to recieve my acceptance letter?

I applied ED to Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences (Chem major). Their website says "admission notification" begins mid-december, but when I toured the campus, their guidance councilor said mid-november. When do most colleges notify ED applicants of their acceptance (or denial I suppose)?
